Located in Fengshan Village, Ganzhou City, surrounded by mountains, lush and green, Yongguichuan • Ganzhou Resort Hotel (Kongtong Lodge) is situated here. Following the winding mountain road into the mountains, the surrounding peaks and forests seem to retreat until reaching the depths of Fengshan. The hotel covers an area of 30 acres, with undulating terrain, buildings scattered among the mountains, connected by winding stone paths and walkways.
Design
While retaining the traditional village layout, the architectural design has undergone structural optimization, exterior wall restoration, and other protective renovations, as well as partial reconstruction. A total of 16 courtyard gardens have been planned. The village lodgings retain the traditional layout and blend harmoniously with the local landscape, creating a modern-day utopia.
Rooms
The hotel has a total of 33 guest rooms, with exteriors that restore the typical style of Hakka residences. The doors and windows of the buildings use casnan wood frames, the courtyard stones are deep gray slate, the walls are painted with eco-friendly natural straw paint, and the courtyards use handmade bamboo fences by local villagers, maximizing the rural atmosphere.
Dining
The chefs at Yongguichuan • Ganzhou adhere to the concept of ancient planting methods and natural, healthy dining. They mainly use local ingredients, selecting local products according to seasonal changes, combining traditional local dishes with modern techniques to create unique fusion cuisine.
Healing
Yongguichuan not only boasts spectacular mountain and sea views, natural aesthetic accommodations, and eco-friendly restaurants but also serves as a spiritual haven for natural education.
