Gesar King City, located in the core area of the Great Shangri-La Tourism Ring and the Kangbei Gesar Cultural Tourism Circle, is located in the southeast of Ganzi County, Ganzi Prefecture. Built on the site of the "Huo Ling Battle" in the Gesar epic, it is a shining pearl on the snowy plateau. King Gesar, a legendary hero of the Tibetan people, was born in 1038 and died in 1119. He spent his life fighting demons, suppressing evil, and fighting in the north and south, unifying more than 150 tribes and unifying the territory of Lingguo.

Sen: Tibetan means lion; Zhu: Tibetan means dragon; Da: Tibetan means tiger, so Senzhudazi Palace means: Lion Dragon Tiger Palace, Lion Dragon Tiger Palace also has a saying: When King Gesar was building the palace, it was built by soldiers during the day, and by lions, dragons and tigers to help King Gesar build the palace at night. This is the origin of Senzhudazi Palace.
