In winter, the Garden of Morning Calm transforms into a completely different world with the "Five-Colored Starlight Garden." Held annually from December to early March, this light festival boasts a magical atmosphere that will make you forget the cold. The entire arboretum, once tranquil during the day, is ablaze with millions of lights, creating a magical atmosphere, as if you've entered a fairytale world. The small church in the "Moonlight Garden" and the large sculptures in the "Haegyeong Garden" are particularly photogenic, with couples lining up to take photos. However, parking and transportation can be extremely crowded on weekend evenings, so we recommend arriving a little earlier in the evening (just before the lights come on) to enjoy both the daytime atmosphere and the nighttime splendor. Warm clothing is essential for the cold weather, and warming up with a cup of hot tea at a cafe or shelter within the arboretum is also a good #travel itinerary.
