Lovely Location with Room for Improvement

Gaya Island Resort is nestled in a bay and boasts appealing aesthetics. While some of the infrastructure could use an upgrade, it's still maintained in good condition. The rooms are very cozy and lovely, featuring an Asian theme! They are situated a bit far from the main attractions, so not ideal for those with mobility issues, especially due to the numerous stairs. The ocean's water is warm and tranquil, and there's an abundance of wildlife to observe, with plenty of island activities organized by the hotel, which are quite intriguing. Be cautious about the check-in times, as we had a lengthy wait before getting our room.
