The "Taking Huashan by Strategy" route is an ancient path within the Huashan Scenic Area in Huayin City, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. The route, approximately 2 kilometers long and comprised of approximately 4,000 steps, begins at the Huangfuyu cable car station and leads directly to the North Peak of Mount Huashan. In 1949, eight brave PLA soldiers, guided by local villagers, used bamboo poles and ropes to scale the North Peak from a desperate situation and annihilate the enemy defending Mount Huashan. This story was later adapted into the film "Taking Huashan by Strategy."
