Tua Pek Kong Temple (大伯公街福德祠) is a Taoist temple located on Lebuh King, George Town, Pulau Pinang. Sandwiched in between the Heong San Hoay Kuan and the Nin Yong Temple. The temple received the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Conservation Award in 2021.
Founded in 1810, the temple is dedicated to the "Tua Pek Kong" (God of Prosperity), regarded as a blessing for prosperity by the local Chinese. The main features are the elaborate pillar carvings, intricate embellishments on the beams, plus the exquisite sculptures & colourful ornaments on the roofs.
Opening hours: Monday to Saturday from 8am - 4.30pm and closed on Sunday, admission is free!
