Located in Jinlingsi Town, Shangzhou, Shaanxi Province, Xiong'er Mountain gets its name from its two upright peaks, resembling a pair of bear ears. East of the line connecting Xiong'er Mountain is a mountain pass known as "Golden Line Pass," as it contains numerous metallic elements and shimmers with golden light when illuminated by sunlight.

At the mouth of Jinxianya, two overlapping boulders resemble golden turtles, earning the mountain pass its nickname "Jinguiya." Extending about 300 meters east from Jinqianya, another majestic peak rises abruptly, rising over 300 meters and covering an area of ​​over 5,000 square meters. In the past, a stockade and temple were built there. Legend has it that the stockade once possessed miraculous powers, earning it the nickname "Xianshen Village."

Xianshen Village is a truly picturesque spot for the sunsets over Xiong'er. Legend has it that Xianshen Village boasted a sacred well, offering inexhaustible, sweet water, a daily necessity for the local people. Later, the well was seized by a weaver who extorted a high price from the people. Without water, the people struggled to survive and prayed to the heavens for protection. Their devout hearts moved heaven and earth, and the Bodhisattva expelled the strongman, saving the people. To express their gratitude, the people built a Bodhisattva Temple in the village. While the legend suggests a coincidence, the well and temple ruins still exist.
