Traditional Local Cakehouse in Penang

Passion Heart cafe is located in the heart of Georgetown, Penang Island. It’s a cute little house transformed into a traditional setting with the feels of reminiscing the old days of Malaysia. They have a lot of cakes to choose from and the best way is to ask the staff for a recommendation so that we can make up our mind easier and also getting a signature.

We got a banana choco crumble cake, the cake is a bit crumbled-like texture like the name itself, with chocolate sauce on the side, it’s sweet and good! We couldn’t resist ordering another slice, a Russian Chocolate cake which it’s more bitter choco taste, lesser on the sweetness but rich in flavour.

- It’s our first time trying but definitely will return for the cakes if travelling to Penang again! Would recommend taking a cab as the parking street around the cafe is limited and always full.
