Chillin’ on the Trails of Wonjeoksan

#summervacay So, I randomly decided to check out Wonjeoksan in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, and this place totally surprised me. It’s not one of those super famous mountains, but that’s what made it awesome. No tourist crowds, just peaceful trails, birds chirping, and fresh air all around. The hike itself wasn’t too intense, perfect for a casual half-day trip. Some parts had a bit of a climb, but nothing wild. Plus, the views from the top were so worth it, you can see the Icheon landscape stretch out forever.

What I really loved was how quiet and chill the whole vibe was. A few friendly hikers said hi along the way, and there were some nice resting spots where I just kicked back with my water bottle and a snack. If you’re looking for a peaceful nature break that’s not too far from Seoul, definitely give Wonjeoksan a shot. It’s one of those underrated spots you’ll be glad you discovered.
