Penang Fishing Village

Chew Jetty, another great landmark of Penang, is a World Heritage-listed fishing village. Most of the residents are Chinese who migrated from Fujian and Guangzhou in 1882. There are 6 jetties, all named after the surnames of the founders. The style is an old Chinese-style wooden house that juts out into the sea, decorated with street art for visitors to take pictures. In addition to fishing, there are also shops selling clothes, souvenirs, and local restaurants, where you can see a unique way of life. #PenangTravel
