Chew Jetty

Chew jetty is a floating village comprised of wooden houses on stilts still inhabited by Chinese families and was established in the mid-19th century. We walked to Chew Jetty after a day of exploring George Town. It was already dark by then, but we were able to go inside and walk around before closing time at 9pm. Some vendors were still working, selling souvenirs or snacks. There were also murals and temples around.
