The first two days in Penang, I just wandered around casually. I went to the Peranakan Museum and noticed on the map that the stylish buildings were quite close, so I did a casual city walk. But it was under a blazing sun, so the experience wasn’t that great 🔥.
Then, this morning, I accidentally discovered an amazing route! The architecture and scenery are beautiful, the sea breeze kept it cool, and I instantly felt like I got my ticket price’s worth! 🌿🌊
Here’s the guide:
1️⃣ Take a Grab directly to the old Jetty Clock Tower — Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower, a very noticeable landmark!
2️⃣ From the big tree next to the clock tower, start walking in the direction shown in photo . There are shady trees and interesting buildings along the way, very comfortable.
3️⃣ When you reach the houses , you’ll see a large green lawn on your right. The lawn faces the sea. Walk along the lawn toward the seaside.
4️⃣ On the lawn, you’ll spot some brand-new buildings nearby with a great design. Take some photos by the sea first, then head to the all-white building for some amazing shots!
5️⃣ Next to the white building is a yellow building p, and beside it is a small park with a fountain, where you can sit down and relax.
Walking this route is a visual feast with sea views and fresh air — truly a hidden gem in Penang you must visit! 🌟📸
You definitely have to try it on your next trip!
