The Diewu Agricultural Culture Museum was built within two years. All of the farming tools on display were collected from the homes of Diewu villagers. Divided into three sections: the Folk Customs Hall, the Agricultural Hall, and the Agricultural History Hall, the museum showcases the daily lives of farmers in Guanzhong from the Neolithic Age to the 1970s. From hunting and gathering, tribal conflicts, the origins of agriculture in the Neolithic Age, the advent of the iron plow during the Spring and Autumn Period, military agriculture, and the history and culture of military etiquette, to the profound changes in Chinese agricultural civilization over thousands of years during the reform and opening-up period of the People's Commune, the museum paints a picture of the profound and vicissitudes of life in Guanzhong.
These farming tools tell the story of the hard work of the farmers who have lived here for generations on this land. In addition to the farming culture museum, the entire village also creatively combines farming tools with 3D wall paintings, and creatively draws old tires, old oil drums, old washbasins and other waste items into cartoons to promote civilized villages.
With a temperate monsoon climate, the village's new look has gone viral on WeChat, making Diewu Village an internet-famous destination, ideal for year-round travel.
