Sood - a nice modern Thai restaurant in Penang

From the outside, SOOD by Chef Ton looks like another restaurant in an old colonial bungalow, but the moment you stepped into the restaurant, you will be wowed by the bold red decor that adds so much life into it.

We had a chance to enjoy a nice dinner here last night, and I will say the food was amazing, from the starters like the Beef Larb Crispy Taco to the Smoked Grouper Soup and from the various mains we had such as the Crab Curry Linguine which I thought was the best food we had last night to the 5 spice lamb shank and the Panang curry tiger prawns.

For dessert, my friend enjoyed her Banana Banana Banana while I felt their Thai Tea Cheesecake was a hit.

Parking is vallet, so no worries about parking.
