Netherlands🇳🇱Fairy Tale Town Giethoorn

In addition to seeing the tulips when I came to Amsterdam, what I was most looking forward to was the Venice-Giethoorn itinerary in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, the weather that day was not satisfactory, so the photos had to be post-production.

📍Location and transportation- Giethoorn is located in the northeast of the Netherlands.
There are various modes of transportation from Amsterdam:
🌟Participate in a local one-day tour: This is the most easy and convenient option. For around €69 you can enjoy a full day trip, which also includes a canal cruise. The itinerary lasts for 5 hours, which is enough for you to deeply experience the charm of Giethoorn.
🚄Take train and bus: the journey takes about 2.5 hours and the fare is about €57.60. First, go to Steenwijk from Amsterdam Central Station. Here you can choose to buy a direct train ticket from Amsterdam to Steenwijk, or transfer. After arriving at Steenwijk station, transfer to bus number 70 and get off at Dominee Hylkemaweg, Giethoorn.

Giethoorn itself does not require tickets. The main way to visit the village is by boat⛵️ It is recommended to rent a boat for 1 hour first, and then walk along the river to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Taking a boat and walking along the river are completely different scenery. If you're hungry, there are several restaurants nearby where you can dine~
