Do you enjoy a boat riding day off with family or friends? Enjoying the gardens with different flowers while chilling on a boat ride. Ain’t it perfect for a day trip?!?! 🛶 The Giethoorn village was famous for its superb canals and a lake nearby, it’s 85 mins drive from Amsterdam. You could join a local day tour which bring you from Amsterdam to Giethoorn or stay in Giethoorn for several days. There were no roads within the village, you have to park in a special park outside the village.🚗#urbanexplorer

I have had a simple lunch and a very decent milky flavoured soft ice. 🍦I highly recommend the soft ice, it’s really creamy and milky!! 🥛🍦

After lunch me and my family has rent a boat for an hour to travel along the canals. 🌸The village was connected with a few canals, with booking a boat they’ll provide you with the route according to the duration. Another option will be joining a canal cruise. If you’d love to enjoy a “botanical garden” 🌸🌼🌺🌻view, I would recommend visiting there in the summer. If you’d love to see an autumn 🍂 garden view, then visit there in September or October.
