Autumn in Nyingchi: A Stunning Picture Scroll

Autumn in Nyingchi: A Feast for the Eyes and Soul

Autumn in Nyingchi is breathtakingly beautiful. At dawn, I set foot on the wooden plank road of Mount Biru, where frost glistens, pine waves and bird songs intertwine, and the autumn wind at 3,000 meters altitude carries the chill of snow-capped mountains, dyeing the leaves in gold foil.

When the first ray of sunlight pierces through the clouds, the whole of Nyingchi instantly awakens. The light pours like gold, first crowning the snow mountains with a dazzling crown, then flowing along the ridges, igniting the layered forests of the Nyang River Valley. Pale yellow, ochre red, and dark green intertwine like a palette spilled by the gods. As the mist disperses, the panoramic view of Nyingchi unfolds like a paradise: the Nyang River is as blue as silk, barley fields shimmer with green, Tibetan-style houses are scattered throughout, and distant snow peaks shine brilliantly under the blue sky.

Prayer flags flutter atop the mountain peaks, sending wishes to the clouds. Walking here, every step follows the rhythm of autumn, every glance falls into the painting of autumn. Autumn in Nyingchi is not of this world; it is a beautiful love letter autumn writes to the earth, shining with an intoxicating brilliance that makes you never want to leave once you arrive.
