Hot air balloon viewing point Mithra Cave Hotel

It had been saved on my bucket list earlier — watching the hot sunrise, and today I finally did it! We went to the rooftop of the Mithra Cave Hotel, where we had a higher view of the city while also getting a view of the hot air balloon slowly ascending from a distance.

Watching the pitch-black sky slowly illuminated by a hot air balloon in the distance is an amazing and special feeling, and how can you miss it when you come to Turkey?

The best thing is to stay at their hotel, of course, but there are plenty of good options nearby if you can't make a reservation!
