[Sunflowers in summer] Flower fields through which trains pass in Nikko

The Kuragasaki Steam Locomotive Flower Field in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, is a colorful landscape of seasonal flowers.

As its name suggests, this flower field stretches out alongside the tracks, where the SL Taiki also travels.

In August, the height of summer, yellow sunflowers bloom everywhere, making it the perfect place to take summery photos with a sunflower bag. 🌻
When I visited, the Spacia X, which will begin operation in 2023, passed through the flower field!

This spot, where you can enjoy the collaboration of trains and seasonal flowers, is also home to a watermill, a pond filled with floating lotus flowers, and a goat's home. It's the perfect place to stop and take a break during your trip to Nikko.
