Silver Beach Tourist Resort is located on the southeast coast of Rushan City, Weihai, Shandong Province. It is connected to Weihai in the east, Yantai in the north, Qingdao in the west and the Yellow Sea in the south. It is located in the center of Qingdao, Yantai and Weihai. Silver Beach is 130 kilometers away from Qingdao, 100 kilometers away from Weihai and 90 kilometers away from Yantai, all of which are about an hour's drive away.
Rushan City boasts abundant resources and abundant products. Known as the "Golden Ridge and Silver Beach," it is a renowned "hometown of aquatic products," "hometown of fruit," and "hometown of gold." With an annual gold output exceeding 100,000 taels and granite reserves of 7 billion cubic meters, it is often referred to as the "Golden Mountain and Fertile Water." In 2002, Silver Beach was designated a National AAAA-level tourist resort by the National Tourism Administration.
It has a temperate continental semi-humid monsoon climate with distinct four seasons, moderate cold and hot seasons, synchronized light and temperature, and simultaneous rain and heat. Spring is dry and windy, summer is hot and rainy, autumn is sunny and refreshing, and winter is cold and snowy.
