4 days and 3 nights around Xi'an, a very satisfying parent-child travel route

A few days ago, I took the kids on a trip to Guangyuan, Sichuan. I wasn't expecting much beforehand; my main goal was to let them loose!
Who could have imagined this impromptu short family trip would be so much fun! We're still wanting more!❓❗️

I'm sharing our amazing itinerary with everyone! Whether you're going or not, save it for later! It'll come in handy someday.
1️⃣Day 1:
Morning: Xi'an → Guangyuan 🚄 2 hours, plenty of buses. Sleep, eat, and get enough before heading out (driving with children is not recommended).

Lunch: Check in and have dinner → 1.5-hour Thousand Buddha Cliff tour (requires 🎫) → 2-hour Huangze Temple tour (requires 🎫).
Evening: Enjoy a hot pot meal → Walk to the riverside street below Fengxiang Tower on Gudu Road for a night view (free) → Take a boat tour 🚢 (paid).
2️⃣Day 2: Visit Fenghuang Mountain Park and check in at Fengxiang Tower. Estimated 2 hours (free) → 🚘 Zhaohua Ancient City tour (estimated 2 hours) → 🚘 Check-in at Tianci Hot Springs in Jiange County
3️⃣Day 3: Morning: Jianmen Pass Scenic Area tour (estimated 4 hours) (If traveling with children, we recommend taking the cable car the entire way 🚡) → Return to hotel for rest → After 6:30 PM, visit Three Kingdoms Town (free) (amusement park 🎠 + snacks + shows)
4️⃣Day 4: Hot spring bath ♨️ Play at the water park, then return home 🔚

🍴Food Guide:
➡️ I ate at Huiyi Hot Pot (main branch) in Guangyuan. The food wasn't particularly impressive, but it was crowded, so if you arrive late, you'll have to wait for a table. I highly recommend the buffet, which offers fermented glutinous rice, porridge, Yangzhou fried rice, and jiangshui fried rice. Side dishes are provided free of charge, so the kids will be able to eat their fill. 👍 (You can also find a hot pot restaurant on Xiahe Street; the taste should be similar. The main thing is, you can stroll along the river afterward.)
➡️Zhaohua Ancient City Mahua (Fried Dried Mahua) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our family loves the crispy and delicious local mashed potatoes. Our family also loves the local mashed potatoes (unassuming but truly delicious, both sweet and savory). ⭐️⭐️⭐️Walnut crispy cakes (good ingredients, though a bit too sweet). ⭐️⭐️
➡️Turning left from the hotel in Jiange County, about ten minutes away, you'll find Qiangui Night Hot Pot, which is excellent and better than the one in Guangyuan! The barbecue restaurant next door is highly recommended. 👍 The grilled beef and vegetables are grilled over charcoal and are incredibly fragrant! And the hot spring water hot pot at the hotel has a great environment and excellent value! It's also hassle-free.

🏨Accommodation:
➡️In Guangyuan, we stayed at the Tiancheng Hotel. It was clean, had great service, and was in a great location. 👍 It even had a swimming pool, which the kids had a blast! ➡️Stayed at Tianci Hot Springs in Jiange♨️ On the first day, I chose the Tianrui Building (convenient but old, damp, and dark). On the second day, I stayed in the Tianxi Building (blindly chose!! The rooms are clean, bright, and fresh, the dining options are convenient, and the environment is great).
🚥Transportation: Going back and forth by high-speed rail, I took taxis and shared electric scooters 🛵. It was convenient, time-saving, and worry-free, and much more cost-effective than driving!
💕Tips:
1. If you have a baby under 3, it's recommended to bring a stroller.
2. Bring your own swimsuit and swim ring 🛟
3. Check the weather forecast before your trip
