Hino Toshiki's grave is located just before the torii gate of Kuzuharaoka Shrine.
At first glance, you might miss it, but the signboard is discreet and catches your eye.
After climbing a small flight of stone steps, you will find a pagoda surrounded by stone walls.
Hino Toshiki was defeated here in Kuzuharaoka, on the orders of Emperor Godaigo, for plotting to overthrow the Kamakura shogunate.
The pagoda is a nationally designated historic site.
While many people go to Kuzuharaoka Shrine, no one goes to Hino Toshiki's grave, but there are still colorful flowers laid there.
