Huolu Mountain Forest Park

This is one of our favourite hiking areas in Guangzhou. There are so many trails leading all over the mountain. It contains well maintained concrete paths as well as some dirt tracks for those who want the 'real' hiking experience.

Although it is a steep ascent, the climb is relatively easy if you stick to the main pathways and the views are well worth the hike.

This hiking area is not far from the city and much less crowded than Baiyun Mountain (a popular tourist spot).
