On Seagull Island in Guangzhou, time seems to slow down. The morning mist gently embraces the water surface, and the river flows quietly around, telling the tenderness of time. Lush mangroves grow around the island, and mottled light and shadows penetrate the branches and leaves, sprinkling on the winding trail, making people walk lightly for fear of disturbing the tranquility. As the sound of the tide moves forward, seagulls by the river spread their wings and fly, skimming across the water, leaving behind a trail of lively traces. The people in the fishing village on the island are still simple and honest, with houses and fields intertwined, smoke rising from the kitchen, and the air filled with the fresh scent of earth and sea breeze. At dusk, the setting sun covers the island with a golden veil, the water surface is sparkling, and the dotted fishing boats are like ink dots in a painting. Gazing at the river and sky merging into one, my thoughts drift away with the water and I forget the hustle and bustle of the world. Seagull Island, this pure land where nature and humanity blend together, has left endless beautiful memories in my heart.
