A Collection of Spring Flower Photography Spots in Guangzhou (Enjoy the Flowers and Outings!)

🏫 South China Agricultural University - Wetland Park 🏫 Earliest flowering period (February-March)
• Sakura Avenue: Pink and white cherry blossoms with red brick buildings. It is recommended to use a telephoto lens to compress the sense of space.
• Bauhinia Flower Sea: Pink flower carpet in front of the administrative building. Shoot from a low angle to avoid the crowds.
• Next to the School of Animal Science: Pear and plum blossoms are as white as snow. Shoot with side backlight for a translucent effect.
• Bougainvillea at the entrance of the Animal Hospital

🏕️ Huacheng Hui Central Area 🏕️ Urban Flower Border (March-April)
• Huacheng Hui Central Plaza: Cherry blossoms in the same frame as the glass curtain wall
• Rose Garden: Use a wide-angle lens to take a top-down shot of the spiral flower bed. Large areas may be sparse, so use it as a foreground to photograph the Canton Tower or Haixinsha.

🌳 Haizhu National Wetland Park 🌳 Connected Flower Gallery (Mid-March)
• Guanlan Bridge: The reflection of Bombax ceiba in the water. It is better to eliminate the reflection when shooting.
• Fulujing: Yellow campanula trees form a forest. Take aerial shots (not allowed inside, think about it yourself 🤔) of the golden wave-like flower belt.
Haizhu Lake Park

🏝️ Ersha Island 🏝️ Artistic Flower Border (March)
• Poppy Flower Field: Ersha Island Art Park. Shoot from the bottom up, or take close-ups of dewdrops. You can also use a large aperture to blur the background of the Canton Tower.
• Riverside Trail: Bombax ceiba and Pearl River cruise ships in the same frame. It is recommended to take silhouettes in the evening.

My favorite spots ⬇️
• Zhoutouzui Zhoutouzui Park: Use a wide-angle lens to capture the sense of extension of the yellow campanula tunnel (you can also take aerial shots)
• Biological Island Guangzhou International Biological Island: Photograph rain lilies after the rain. Pay attention to waterproof equipment.
• Tram Haizhu Tram Line 1: Capture Bombax ceiba and the rainbow train in the same frame. Walk over to take pictures on the overpass and prepare a telephoto lens.

Tips: Prepare a ladder to deal with low angles, bring a transparent umbrella in early March to prevent spring rain, and wear light-colored clothing as a reflector. The flowering period is easily affected by the weather. I heard that the flowers of the Wuhan cherry blossoms 🌸 were blown away.
