#Guangzhou Itinerary
Day 1: Tracing the Footprints of History
In the morning of Guangzhou, I set out on a journey to explore history, and my first stop was the former site of the Huangpu Military Academy Alumni Association. This low-key and simple building records the passionate youth and indomitable will of countless revolutionary predecessors. The exhibition hall displays precious documents and photos, telling the heroic deeds of the Whampoa Military Academy students in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the revolution. I read the historical materials carefully in the exhibition hall and felt a solemn power. In the afternoon, I strolled along the Pearl River, thinking about how the revolutionary wave surged out from here in the past.
Day 2: Feel the Vitality of Guangzhou
On the second day, I turned to feel the charm of Guangzhou. We arrived at Ersha Island in the morning, where the gardens and sculptures showcase the perfect fusion of art and nature. In the afternoon, I visited Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, a street that combines ancient and modern times. Every step seemed to be walking into a different time and space. The underground ruins of the ancient road and the bustling shops on the street complement each other, highlighting Guangzhou's long-standing cultural heritage and today's prosperity.
