Panyu, Guangzhou: Kapok flowers by the Pearl River in Shangjiao

📍A few kapok trees by the Pearl River at Guangzhou Xilinyuan, Shangjiao Village, Panyu District, have already started to bloom.
🌟The red kapok, fishing boats, and old houses echo the Guangzhou Window of the World Business Port across the river, forming a unique southern kapok picture.
🌟Guangzhou Window of the World is a landmark building on the Pearl River's back channel and Guangzhou's south-central axis. It is affectionately known as "No. 100" by locals due to its unique "100" shape.
✅The kapok trees are located in Guangzhou Xilinyuan, a popular boutique homestay, which uses them as a selling point every year when the kapok flowers are in full bloom. Its predecessor was an old shipyard, and these kapok trees were planted by the old shipyard in the 1980s. There are as many as six or seven trees.
🚉Transportation: It is about a 15-minute walk from Exit A of subway Line 3.
