#Guangzhou Itinerary
I recently checked in at Guangzhou Liwan Lake Park and wanted to share the latest flower information and my experience of visiting with you! As a popular flower-viewing spot in the city, the hydrangeas at Liwan Lake have been all over the social media, but according to actual measurements on April 8, the flowering period is now coming to an end, with most of the hydrangeas beginning to wither (as seen in Figure 3), the edges of the petals turning yellow, and the density of the flowers significantly reduced. However, the overall greenery in the park is still rich, and the lake and tree shadows complement each other, making it still a good place for strolling and relaxing.
šæ Garden experience and practical tips:
⢠Weather and crowds: Visiting on a cloudy day may lack the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds, but the cooler climate is more suitable for strolling. There are not many tourists during non-weekend periods, and boating on the lake and enjoying the scenery along the lake are both leisurely and pleasant. Occasionally, you will encounter photography enthusiasts who stop to take pictures. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable.
⢠Surrounding food spots:
ā«ļø Crab roe noodles: The check-in experience at this internet celebrity restaurant is average, the crab roe flavor did not live up to the expected surprise, the price/performance ratio is a matter of opinion, and it is not recommended to make a special trip to try it.
ā«ļø Ling Ji Lo Mein: A traditional Cantonese noodle shop worth recommending! Bamboo noodles are chewy and refreshing, and paired with beef brisket or fish skin, the sauce is seasoned just right, making it a perfect choice for filling your stomach.
⢠Heartwarming details: If you canāt find a specific check-in point, the staff will enthusiastically guide you along the way, allowing you to feel the strong local human touch during your visit to the park.
⨠Summary and suggestions:
Although we missed the heyday of hydrangeas, Liwan Lake Park is still a great place to relax on the weekend with its quaint pavilions and rippling lake views. It is recommended to visit the nearby Litchi Bay together to experience the Lingnan water village style and taste traditional snacks such as chicken wings and chicken biscuits. Remember to choose a sunny day to enjoy the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains and delicious food, and have a great time!
