Sibling Trip · Guangzhou Edition

#guangzhou_china #guangzhou

Thought this trip would be all chill:
🧺 dim sum, 🏞️ sightseeing, slow walks…

Reality check:
🌧️ heavy rain, 🚫 closed attractions, constant bickering —
but we stuck together through it all! 🙃😝

First time traveling with my brother — definitely worth remembering! 🤣

What we ate:
Cantonese-style spicy chicken hotpot 🐔, Chaoshan beef hotpot 🥩, Tao Tao Ju dim sum 🥟, cheong fun 🌯, roast goose leg rice 🍗, shrimp wonton noodles 🍜, late-night BBQ delivery, lychee king 🍒, and yes... McDonald’s 😂
👫 Presenting: the sibling version of a Guangzhou food guide!

📡 The weather forecast said “super hot”...
But a typhoon named “Butterfly” showed up instead 🦋🌧️
Still, we roamed the city in the rain like troopers!

📍 Places we checked :-

#cantontower Canton Tower,
#shamianisland Shamian Island,
#beijingroad Beijing Road, Dafo Temple, Haixinsha Park, Chen Clan Academy
#yongqingfang Artsy spots like Yongqing Fang & Moon Bridge 🌙
#sacredheart Sacred Heart Cathedral was absolutely stunning — the architectural details are insane ⛪
#guangdongmuseum Guangzhou Museum 🎎 was super informative and free! 👍
#liwanlakepark Lotus-filled lake at Liwan Park was surprisingly healing 🪷
#baiyunmountain Baiyun Mountain had great views & fresh air 🌄, though some spots were closed due to the storm
🍧 Dessert therapy was real:
Double-skin milk pudding, mango pomelo sago, black sesame almond soup —
A different one every day 🥄💫
Plus milk tea 🧋 & coconut coffee ☕ totally became the surprise MVPs of the trip.

Not a sightseeing trip — this was a full-on sugar-fueled soul retreat 💆🏻♀️🤣
