Chen Clan Temple is located in Liwan District and is a national 4A tourist attraction. Chen's Academy is the largest, most beautifully decorated and well-preserved traditional Lingnan ancestral hall-style building in Guangdong. It is known as the "Pearl of Lingnan Architectural Art". It concentrates the essence of Guangdong's folk architectural decorative art, and cleverly uses decorative arts such as wood carving, brick carving, stone carving, gray sculpture, pottery sculpture, copper and iron casting and painting. It is a brilliant hall of folk decorative art.

The first row of halls in the temple used to be living rooms and a private school; the second row of halls was used for gatherings; the third hall was dedicated to the ancestral tablets, with the high-ranking ones in the middle and the low-ranking ones on both sides, with a strict hierarchy.

The Juxian Hall of Chen's Academy is the center of the entire building complex. It was the place where the Chen family discussed and gathered in the past. The hall is majestic, with 12 huge double-sided carved wooden screen doors in the middle. A large plaque with the words "Juxian Hall" is hung high in the hall. A rosewood table is placed in the center of the hall in the same way as it was back then. It is solemn and elegant, and majestic, as if the Chen family is about to welcome an important guest from afar.
