Tokyo, Yoyogi-Uehara

You can visit a mosque showcasing beautiful Turkish-Islamic architecture.
This is a place where you can admire stunning Islamic cultural elements such as stained glass, tile decorations, arabesque patterns, and calligraphy.
As it is a sacred site, there are certain rules to follow:
① Remove your shoes before entering the prayer hall.
② Women are required to wear a headscarf (such as a hijab). Scarves are available for loan at the entrance.
③ Avoid wearing clothing that exposes too much skin.
④ During prayer times, access for visitors is restricted. Especially on Fridays during the congregational prayer (Jumu'ah), the mosque is crowded, and visiting hours may be limited.
Photography 📷
Photography inside the building and of exhibits is permitted, but avoid taking photos during prayers or in front of worshippers.
