The Stone Chamber Sacred Heart Cathedral is located in Yuexiu District. It took 25 years to build. It is the most magnificent and distinctive cathedral in the Catholic Diocese of Guangzhou. The Stone Chamber Sacred Heart Cathedral was designed by French designers and built by Chinese craftsmen.

The Stone Chamber Sacred Heart Cathedral is one of the most magnificent twin-spired Gothic buildings in China, the largest stone-structured Catholic building in Southeast Asia, and one of the four all-stone Gothic church buildings in the world. Since all the walls and pillars of the church are built with granite, it is also called "Stone Chamber", "Stone Chamber Jesus Sacred Heart Church" or "Stone Chamber Catholic Church".

There are three pointed arch doors on the ground floor, and there are 7 pairs of column lines and 7 layers of pointed arch ribs outside the door frame. There is a 6-meter-diameter stone-carved hollow rose window in the middle.

In the middle of the second floor is a circular rose window carved with stone.

The third floor is a bell tower, with a pair of octagonal pointed towers that are high and steep. The big bell tower is equipped with four large bronze bells shipped from France; the west, south and north towers of the west bell tower are equipped with clocks with Roman clock faces, and the east bell tower hangs a group of bronze bells named after the Virgin Mary; the church is divided into the central hall and the side corridors by two rows of longitudinal beams, with pointed rib cross vaults, and the outer walls on the east and west sides are built with flying buttresses and flying buttresses, which are supported in the air. The pointed arch windows, rose windows, parapets and interior decorations of the whole building are exquisite, the capitals of the beams are decorated with deformed wheat ears, and the beams are combined to represent rock-solid; the water outlet is a traditional Chinese style stone lion style.
