🧭 How to Order & Pay

🍽 Ordering food in China is easier than you think!
Most restaurants in the city have a QR code system for ordering on the table or on the wall.
• Open the Alipay/WeChat app
• 📱 Scan the QR code >> Select the menu >> Click to pay
• 💸 Pay via mobile phone (almost all restaurants don't accept credit cards)
• 🥢 Wait for your food to be delivered to your table, or some restaurants allow you to pick it up at the counter.

🧾 For some local restaurants without a QR code system, use Google Translate/Papago to translate the menu and then just click to order.
📉 However, sometimes they don't have change with cash. Carry small bills or pay online for the most convenience.

1. 源记肠粉 (Yuan Ji Chang Fen) – Cantonese-style rice noodle rolls

✨ They're so good! Thin, soft, juicy dough, and fragrant sauce.
💰 Great price, just under tens of yuan.

2. Bao Shifu – Famous pastry shop

🥐 Salted egg puff pastry & cheese lava are the best.
🧁 Multiple branches in Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
📍 Shenzhen (The branch in Happy Coast Mall is excellent.)

3. Chui Gee Chinese Dessert – Traditional Chinese desserts

🍵 Tofu pudding, ginger tea, and pudding are very refreshing.
🪷 Slightly sweet, fragrant, and easy to eat.
📍 Guangzhou

4. Chinese Hamburger – Crispy dough with egg, vegetables, and sauce.

🥚 It's like a Chinese crepe, but with lots of toppings.
🍴 Easy to eat, easy to eat while walking, available on the street.
📍 Often found along the MRT and at night markets.

5. Happy Coast Harbour) & Michelin-Star World (星厨星帖界)

🏙 The waterfront area in Shenzhen has a great atmosphere.
🌟 Inside, there's a zone with world-class Michelin-starred restaurants.
🍲 We tried the "Singaporean Chicken Rice" and "Hong Kong Beef Noodles." The flavors were rich and delicious.

🥤 Hong Kong milk / milk tea / omelet rice / mango smoothies are my favorites.

🔥 Premium Korean BBQ with 5 dipping sauces!
🍖 Great beef, lots of pork, chicken, and shrimp options.

🍓 Fresh fruit milk tea, very fragrant clear tea.
🍋 Try the "Lemon Cheese Tea" menu, the perfect cheese aroma.
📍 Guangzhou (Zhujiang New Town branch)

9. ARTEÀSG

🍑 Premium Chinese tea brand.
🍇 We ordered the "Grape Oolong," which has a pleasant, unadulterated aroma.
📍 There are many branches, both in shopping malls and standalone restaurants.

🥤 Some drinks/snacks are only 10–25 yuan.
