Guangzhou, a city full of vibrant life, always hides countless surprises. This time, staying at the Baiyun International Convention Center Marriott Hotel felt like discovering a secret garden in the modern metropolis💐
📍【Prime Location】
Marriott is tucked in the heart of Baiyun New Town, just a 3-minute walk from Exit B of Baiyun Cultural Square Station on Metro Line 2. Nearby are the Baiyun International Convention Center, Wanda Plaza, and Children's Park—perfect for both kids and shopping! A 20-minute taxi ride takes you straight to the South Gate of Baiyun Mountain, making morning runs and fresh air super convenient!
🏠【Rooms Like a Contemporary Art Gallery】
The executive room I stayed in was a spacious 48㎡, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering a full view of Baiyun CBD. My favorite was the smart toilet that looked like an art installation, featuring a temperature-controlled toilet seat and frosted glass—technology at its finest✨ The bedding is 300-thread-count Frette; lying down feels like sinking into clouds, who else gets this feeling!
🌿【Bringing Lingnan Gardens to the 28th Floor】
The rooftop pool on the 5th floor is a must-visit! The infinity design paired with tropical plants makes every photo look like an Instagram masterpiece. Even more delightful is the healing garden path, where I spotted several Su-style garden design details during my morning walk—such a clever blend of East and West!
🎂【Service That Warms the Heart】
I informed them in advance it was an anniversary stay, and the front desk lady upgraded my room and gifted red wine and a handwritten card! The poolside staff proactively offered cold towels, and the gym attendant even remembered my daily workout time... this kind of invisible service touches more than just hardware!
⚠️【Practical Tips】
1️⃣ Arrive early for weekend buffet breakfast (before 7:30 AM); the popular shrimp dumplings and freshly cooked Shahe rice noodles have queues
2️⃣ The underground passage on B2 directly connects to the metro, very useful during the rainy season
3️⃣ Happy Hour at the executive lounge (5:30-7:30 PM) offers cocktails that rival those in outside bars
4️⃣ For nearby dining, take an 8-minute taxi to the long-established "Qiao Gourmet," their crispy roast pigeon is absolutely amazing
