MyTravelDiary: If you ever get the chance to experience Mid-Autumn Festival in Guangzhou, don't sleep on it! The city absolutely lights up with magic and vibes you won’t forget. Everywhere you look, there are glowing lanterns—so Insta-worthy! Wandering in the garden with a lantern and admiring the big, bright full moon is pure serenity. 🌝
The mooncakes are sooo good—seriously, treat yourself to a few flavors if you’re there. My personal fave is the lotus seed one! Every bite just screams tradition and culture.
Guangzhou goes all out for Mid-Autumn, blending chill festivities with rich traditions. Grab your lantern, join the party, and soak in all that cultural goodness. Opening hours for most parks and gardens like Yuexiu Park (988 Jiefang North Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, open daily 6am–10pm) are pretty late during festival week, and mooncakes are everywhere (try any bakery along Beijing Road!).
Ready for an enchanting night out? This festival is nd a total must-experience!
