The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Chen Clan Academy, or Guangdong Folk Arts Museum, was built during the Qing Dynasty around 1888 by members of the Chen clan from 72 counties in Guangdong Province (Guangdong) as residences and preparation centers for the civil service examination.

The hall now serves as the Guangdong Folk Art Museum, showcasing local crafts such as woodcarving, brick, ceramics, and stone.

The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall is regarded as the "pinnacle of Lingnan architecture" due to its beauty and excellent preservation.
