Guguan//Shaolai Trail

The Shaolai Trail is located in the Guguan Scenic Area in Heping District, Taichung. It is about 1,500 meters long and is the only hiking trail in the scenic area. The entrance to the trail is on the main shopping street in Guguan, next to the Guguan Post Office.
Go up the stairs, you will see lush green trees along the way, and when you reach the viewing pavilion, you can have a panoramic view of the whole valley. There are two entrances to the trail, one leading to the Guguan Suspension Bridge and the other to the Shaolai Suspension Bridge. From the bridges, you can see the magnificent Dajia Valley.
If you go to the Shaolai Suspension Bridge, you can reach the Guguan Hot Spring Park, where there is a free hot spring foot bath. Soaking your feet after climbing a mountain can effectively relieve fatigue.
