After visiting the Kumbum Monastery, we drove non-stop to Qinghai Lake. The altitude rose linearly along the way. When we arrived at Dzongkhala in Laji Mountain, the altitude soared to 4188, which made us feel bad immediately. Fortunately, there was a small shop on the roadside, so I quickly bought a few bottles of oxygen. 7 cans of oxygen cost about 100 yuan on Taobao, but 3 cans are sold here for 100 yuan. I shed tears silently 😂

Dzongkhala is the "largest Laze" certified by Gillis World Records in 2016, and is also known as the first pass in Qinghai-Tibet. "Zongkha" is a place name, and "Laze" is a pile of stones and earth stones piled up at mountain passes, hillsides, main peaks, borders, etc. in Tibetan areas, with long bamboo poles, long arrows, long wooden sticks, and spears inserted on them. There are also prayer flags tied to it, and it is a castle palace built to worship gods. Some people said there was no charge, but when I went there they charged me 10 yuan. In fact, there is not much difference whether you enter or not. Except for the inside of the palace, where photography is not allowed, the things you can see are the same whether you buy a ticket or not.

The few flights of stairs leading up are really the pinnacle of my entire Northwest Grand Ring Road. The scenery is beautiful, with blue sky and white clouds, green grass, and flocks of sheep. If you don’t have high blood pressure and no headache, the experience is still good 😂.
