Laji Pass, with an altitude of more than 3,800 meters, is the gateway to Qinghai and Tibet. As the car wound its way up the mountain, the air pressure gradually decreased and the wind picked up. When I stood at the top of the mountain, all that was left was vastness and grandeur between heaven and earth. The weather here is changeable, with white fog rolling in in an instant, and the snow line is not far away, as if it is bordering the sky. Laji Pass is not only a geographical boundary, but also a junction between spirit and nature.
Standing in the wind and looking at the endless mountains and grasslands in the distance, I deeply feel the insignificance of human beings and the greatness of nature. The prayer flags fluttered in the wind, and those dense blessings seemed to be seeing off the travelers and praying for heaven and earth. There is no embellished beauty here, but there is the purest power. Laji Pass is a pilgrimage site in the hearts of the brave and the thoughtful.
