Sun and Moon Pagodas in Guilin

The Sun and Moon Pagodas stand prominently in the middle of Shanhu Lake. These twin pagodas are approximately 40 meters tall. The Sun Pagoda is made of brass and is the largest brass pagoda in the world, while the Moon Pagoda is made of silver-colored cement. Together, they create a beautiful and unique sight. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the area, as the surroundings of the pagodas are a public park with a refreshing breeze from the lake. This spot is considered one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Guilin.
