I went to Guilin just for these dozen or so photos

Find some time to travel to Guilin, here’s a special forces travel guide for you.
✅Travel Route
Elephant Trunk Hill Park — Dongxi Alley — Jingjiang Princes' City — Liberation Bridge — Seven Star Scenic Area — Chuanshan Scenic Area — Sun and Moon Twin Towers
This route is mostly walkable, except for Chuanshan Scenic Area.
✅Accommodation: Global International Hotel (Two Rivers and Four Lakes Elephant Trunk Hill Branch)
➡️Elephant Trunk Hill Park: Opens at 7 AM, it’s recommended to go early to avoid large tour groups. The park is about 200 meters from the hotel and within walking distance.
🎫Ticket: Free
➡️Xiaoyao Building: The hotel restaurant overlooks Xiaoyao Building, and you can also climb it; the night view is quite beautiful.
➡️Dongxi Alley: The popular photo spot is in East Alley; it’s mostly empty during the day but gets crowded in the afternoon and evening.
➡️Jingjiang Princes' City: Recommended to spend about 2 hours here; you can see the origin of the saying “Guilin’s landscape is the best under heaven.”
➡️Liberation Bridge: The bridge is lit up at night and looks beautiful; you can also see Elephant Trunk Hill from the bridge.
➡️Seven Star Scenic Area: It’s quite large; you can climb the Star-Picking Pavilion. At 11 AM, you can have a vegetarian meal at Qixia Temple, and donations are welcome.
➡️Chuanshan Scenic Area: You need to take a taxi here; it’s about 3 kilometers from Seven Star Scenic Area and the farthest spot on the route.
➡️Sun and Moon Twin Towers: The view is completely different between day and night; it’s more beautiful at night, and there are several free photo spots by the lake.
✅Dining: There is Zhengyang Pedestrian Street near the hotel, great for strolling and eating.
🚴Transportation: Take the high-speed train to Guilin West Station, then take a taxi. The station is about 10 kilometers from the hotel.
