Troy ruins

The ruins are often mentioned as a great achievement of Schliemann, but I have mixed feelings about the fact that more groundbreaking discoveries could have been made if the excavation had been carried out more carefully from an archaeological point of view. The nearby museum is worth a visit for its exhibits, buildings, and shops.
