Rocks, Views, and a Bit of a Leg Day

#summervacay If you’re down for a hike that brings a little drama (in the best way), Uisang Ridge is it. This trail’s part of Seoraksan National Park, which already means it’s gonna be stunning, but Uisang takes it up a notch with narrow ridgelines, epic views, and some solid thigh-burning climbs.

We started early-ish to beat the crowds (and the sun), and right away it was like, granite cliffs and mountain air. The trail winds up with a good mix of stairs, rocks, and spots that feel like you’re in an ancient martial arts movie. There are definitely a few moments where you’re holding onto railings and going “uhhh okay this is steep,” but it never feels unsafe. Just exciting.

The views? Unreal. You’re basically walking along the spine of the mountain with clouds and peaks all around.

Bring water, snacks, and maybe some trekking poles if you’re feeling fancy.
Uisang Ridge? Wild, beautiful, and totally worth the sweat.
