Jarasum Island, Didn’t Expect Much, Ended Up Living My Best Chill Life

#summervacay So I hit up Jarasum Island on a random sunny day and… wow, what a surprise vibe. It’s in Gyeonggi-do, not far from Gapyeong, and honestly? Felt like I stepped into a postcard. Chill grassy fields, trees doing their tree thing, and these little walking paths that are perfect for just zoning out or pretending you’re in a music video.

There were families having picnics, couples taking cute selfies, and me, solo-snacking on kimbap like a legend. The breeze? Chef’s kiss. There’s even a spot with hammocks. Actual hammocks. I almost fell asleep in one.

If you’re into low-effort nature hangs, Jarasum is IT. No major hiking or sweating required, just good vibes, open space, and plenty of places to sit and do absolutely nothing (in the best way). Oh, and if you time it right, the sunsets here are ridiculous.

10/10 would come back with friends, or alone with more snacks.
