Ha Giang motorbike trip - A must try

Northern Vietnam is ideal for a motorbike trip, especially in Ha Giang. This province offers one of the most thrilling and scenic adventures we’ve ever experienced. With its rugged mountains, winding roads, and stunning terraced rice fields, Ha Giang truly has it all.

Ha Giang is beautiful year-round, particularly in early spring (when the flowers bloom!) and mid-autumn (with golden rice fields). Though we couldn’t visit during the peak season, the roads were still breathtaking.

Recommended highlights: Quan Ba Heaven Gate & Twin Mountains, Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, Lung Cu Flag Tower, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Hoang Su Phi Rice Terraces, and Meo Vac.

How to get there: The most common way is to take a bus to Ha Giang City, where you can rent a motorbike. (Some rent bikes from Hanoi, but that makes the trip too long!)
