Citywalk in Bai Chay Area

Many travelers choose Bai Chay as their accommodation location when planning a tour to Halong Bay. While the Hon Gai area across the bridge is flat, Bai Chay is hilly, making it a bit challenging for walking. However, it offers the advantage of stunning views of Halong's seaside.

If possible, I recommend spending a few extra days exploring this area on foot. Walking through charming local streets and alleys with picturesque views might change your impression of Halong, which may have felt overly touristy before. 😁
