Is it better to travel independently or join a tour group? This is a question travelers often ponder when planning their trip. They want some time to themselves but don't want to spend too much time researching online and planning their itinerary.
Luckily, I discovered Ambassador Cruises in Halong Bay, which solved my food, accommodation, and transportation problems! The two-day, one-night itinerary was packed with activities from the moment I checked in at 11:00 AM. Upon boarding, the cruise ship introduced activities and then proceeded to dinner. You can explore Halong Bay by kayak and enjoy delicious meals in the onboard restaurant as the cruise crisscrosses thousands of majestic limestone islets. Evenings with clear weather and no rain, you can enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner under the twinkling stars. Live performances were also available, creating a truly exciting atmosphere.
The next day, at 7:30 AM, we went to the Surprise Cave to see the stalactites. It was so beautiful, I forgot to take a few photos.
Hero Island offers both beach fun and panoramic views of the mountains.
It also fulfilled my dream of taking a cruise for the first time. When the weather is good, taking photos amidst these breathtaking views requires no skill at all; every shot is a postcard-worthy beauty. #HalongBay
I booked an airport transfer on Trip.com before our trip. We arrived directly from Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Vietnam, and the driver was waiting for us with a sign. This kind of service is the ultimate luxury when traveling independently.
