Fantastic Movie Town 🎬🎞📽

I went on an impromptu trip to Sanya in August and ended up loving it so much that it left me wondering what’s up in the north of Hainan island! Two months later, I flew to Haikou!

This movie town was the first attraction I visited and it’s my favourite place to visit in Haikou! It integrates the beauty of films, architecture and retail into a unique tourist attraction! It’s on the outskirts of the city so going there by taxi 🚕 is the best option! The entrance ticket 🎟 varies between 190 - 300 (It’s huge and is divided in 3 parts) At the entrance of each part, you’re given tickets to take pictures at photo props mimicking the ancient times. If you choose to buy them, each picture costs 25 RMB.

There’s a restaurant in the first part( first picture) a few metres away from the entrance with tasty and affordable food! If you fancy a photoshoot, you can hire a photographer there and choose from the numerous accessories available mainly Qipao dresses, hats, shoes…
