Self-driving tour guide for Hainan Island East Route

The Hainan Island Self-Driving Tour is 1,000 kilometers long and is divided into the East Line and the West Line.
The east line has more scenery, complete facilities and relatively more tourists.
There are fewer scenic spots on the west line, which are relatively primitive and less crowded.

There are two routes around the island:
One is the Hainan Ring Road (a highway with no view of the sea).
One is the Hainan Ring Island Tourist Highway (where you can see the sea).
Please pay attention to the distinction.
With that in mind, let’s look at route planning.

🌄Attractions along the way:
✅Haikou
1️⃣Wugong Temple: Built in the Ming Dynasty to commemorate five famous historical officials.
2️⃣Qiongtai Academy: It was the highest institution of learning in Hainan at that time. The famous Cantonese opera and Qiong opera originated here.
3️⃣ Yundong Library: With its unique appearance design, it is the best place to watch the sunset.
4️⃣Qilou Old Street: Nanyang-style architecture, a great place for taking photos and checking in.

✅Wenchang
1️⃣ Weihu Bay: There are many check-in and photo-taking spots, which are very beautiful and should not be missed.
2️⃣Mulan Bay: There are windmills along the road for several kilometers, which is very spectacular.
3️⃣ Bronze Drum Buddha Light: A Thai temple on the seaside. There is a stone park nearby that you can visit.
4️⃣ Dongjiao Coconut Grove: The entire beach is covered with coconut trees.
5️⃣Wenchang Space Launch Center: China’s first open launch base.

✅Qionghai
1️⃣ Mengcai Garden: This is the Milk Sea, the water is clear and very beautiful, but it must be sunny to see the most beautiful sea view.
2️⃣ Gangxia Village: Navigate to the ruins of the Longwan Port Fort, where there are few people and beautiful scenery, and the entire beach is covered with coral shells.

✅Mannings
1️⃣Shigong Temple: It is also a place with few people and beautiful scenery. There are many reefs and you can pick up crabs and shrimps.
2️⃣Dahuajiao: A pebbled beach with foam.
3️⃣Sun River Scenic Bridge: The sea and the river meet here.
4️⃣Xinqun Bay: An emerging niche bay with homestays, coffee shops and many young people.
5️⃣Shenzhou Peninsula: A tourist attraction with many people. You can rent an electric car to check in at the lighthouse. The road leading to the lighthouse is very beautiful.
6️⃣ Guanhai Pavilion: The sunset at Guanhai Pavilion is very beautiful. You can walk to the beach, sit on the swing, drink coffee, take photos and check in.
7️⃣Riyue Bay: A tourist attraction, it is a coastal street with seaside bars, coffee shops, homestays, and a very beautiful church.

✅Lingshui
1️⃣Fenjiezhou Island: a diving destination with rich marine life.
2️⃣Nanwan Monkey Island: the home of macaques, where you can experience the cross-sea cableway.

These are basically the attractions I think are worth visiting.
The number of days for the trip is not fixed and depends on personal circumstances. If you have enough time, you can plan a few more days and visit more attractions.
