Revisiting Haikou Huacai InterContinental: Hardware upgrade, service details to be improved

🏨 Overview
When I came to Haikou and stayed at his house many years ago, it was still Huacai Huayi.
The stay was quite good.
This time I come to Haikou again,
I came back specially to experience his place which has been upgraded to InterContinental.

The new decoration style is very Nanyang style.
Even has the taste of Bangkok InterContinental,
The hotel's treasure, the Suzhou embroidered lotus background wall at the front desk, has been preserved.
I personally like this style very much.

🛏 In Room
The rooms have been partially renovated and upgraded.
Very typical Intercontinental style.
But the workmanship is very rough,
The decoration on the head of the bed has shown signs of having fallen off and been repaired with glue.
The bathroom remained completely unchanged.
The bathtub is even old.
There are big cracks between the tiles.

🍽 Dining
For breakfast,
There are many local specialties.
There's even bak kut teh!

🧘🏻♂️ Facilities
The pool area has not been renovated or remodeled.
In addition, the weather in Haikou was not very good for the past few days.
No one went into the water.
I didn't find any hot springs last time I came.
I only saw it when I took photos after checking out.

🔖 Conclusion
Although the brand has been upgraded to InterContinental,
But the service has dropped drastically.
I hope the hotel can make timely adjustments.
Get back on track.
